Go with the Superia 400 by all means. An impressive number to be reduced to a not-so-much impressive count of 37 useful frames by camera operator error. not blowing out. They are all sharp. As you can see on the sunset portraits, I metered for the whole scene most likely. I'd shoot it without worrying about it. Its a thoroughly modern color film that was formulated to handle almost any situation, and as importantly, any level of shooter. Superia 400 can be an unexpectedly good portraiture film. I took out that small green canister from my pocketand loaded it intotheFG. I'm shooting with a Yashica GX with a 40mm/1.7 lens, and find that with a 400 ISO film I'm often stopping down completely to 16 in bright sunlight, and about a stop under that with the 200.
